Springfield Armory is expanding its Kuna lineup with a new suppressor-ready model built around a classic tri-lug muzzle.

The new compact 9mm packs a 4-inch barrel, 15+1 capacity, optics-ready slide, and a $599 MSRP, putting it squarely into the increasingly crowded “do-everything carry gun” category.

We hit the floor at NRA 2026 in Houston and this year’s long gun lineup? It’s stacked.

MSRP lands at $1,399, putting it right in the middle of the PDW market. Not budget. Not outrageous. Right where most serious buyers expect it to be.

MSRP lands at $999 for both calibers, which puts it squarely in that mid-range 1911 category. Accessible, but still built with the materials people expect from a traditional setup.

This thing is basically a bolt-action .308 stuffed into a compact, modular chassis, and it definitely leans more “mini precision rifle” than anything you’d associate with a traditional handgun.

Instead of buying a rifle and then piecing together the rest, this package is built to get you range-ready right away.

If you’re into that old-school “wood and steel” vibe, this one stays right in that lane.
