Semi-Autos

It is close: the Beretta A300 Ultima Patrol is a touch lighter, recoiled slightly less and ran the fastest double tap in our testing, while the Mossberg 940 Pro Tactical has the biggest controls and a factory optics cut that sits a red dot low. Our reviewer’s personal pick was the 940, but the A300 [...]

The Tokarev TT 12 Pro is an AR-style 12-gauge shotgun that showed up cheap, ran clean, and refused to choke on low-velocity shells, buckshot, or slugs. For about $365, this box-magazine-fed semi-auto came to fight.

The best Beretta shotguns come from the oldest gunmaker in the world, and the company still builds some of the softest shooting, most reliable semi-autos you can buy. The hard part is picking one. The Mod 2 is the same fast 1301 gas gun with better parts where your hands go: an M-LOK forend, a Pro-Lifter, a semi-flat trigger and a bigger loading port. The Tactical C is that same gun shipped at 5+1 with no magazine extension, built after Beretta stopped making the 7+1 version in November 2024. [...]

Teaming up with champ shooter Jerry Miculek, Mossberg just improved upon these 12-gauge beasts by including optic-ready models in the existing lineup.

Retay recently introduced the Masai Mara Cerakote lineup of hunting shotguns. Designed to be durable, these shotguns are engineered to ensure consistent performance in even the harshest environments.

Like the original 930 series, this upgrade is a gas-operated gun. The main improvements include better ergonomics and a smoother gas system.
