Most people only see specialized law enforcement teams when something has already gone seriously wrong. Staccato’s new video series aims to show what happens before that call ever comes.
The Last Call tells the human stories behind teams whose work usually stays out of public view. The series focuses on their training, preparation, teamwork and willingness to step into dangerous situations.
Its latest installment follows the Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office Special Response Team. Staccato received rare access to the unit, allowing its members to explain the mission in their own words.

The result is more than a highlight reel. Viewers get a closer look at the people wearing the gear and carrying the responsibility. The episode explores what it takes to remain prepared when the team never knows when the next call may come.
