As America prepares to celebrate its 250th birthday, Cabot Guns has unveiled a limited-edition 1911 that literally contains a piece of Revolutionary War history.

Limited to just 250 pistols, the custom Commander blends patriotic themes with premium 1911 features and detailed engraving work aimed squarely at collectors.

As of May 2025, the CMP has officially doubled the lifetime purchase limit on surplus M1911 and M1911A1 pistols from two guns to four.
