At NRA 2025, Trijicon dropped a serious upgrade to its proven MRO series with the all-new MRO SD — a red dot optic specifically enhanced for use with magnifiers and night vision gear.
The standout change?
A crisp 2 MOA dot (available in red or green) that replaces the old circle-dot reticle. The result is much better clarity when paired with a 3x magnifier, and it shows. The glass is clean and bright, making this setup feel like you’re looking through a full-blown rifle scope, not just a reflex sight.

Trijicon also tuned the windage and elevation adjusters, improved night vision compatibility, and maintained the rugged reliability the brand is known for.
Built with a hard-anodized 7075-T6 aluminum housing, it’s fully sealed and waterproof — ready for law enforcement, military, and civilian abuse alike.
Battery life clocks in at 2.5–3 years, and users still get ambidextrous brightness controls, sub-flush adjusters, and a huge field of view thanks to the large aperture design.
If you’re already using a magnifier or building out a versatile carbine, the MRO SD looks like a rock-solid pick.
