America’s 250th birthday is bringing out some of the best-looking commemorative firearms we’ve seen in years, and Ruger just made its lineup even bigger.

The company announced six new additions to its 250th Anniversary Series, expanding the collection with limited-production rifles, pistols, and lever guns that celebrate the nation’s semiquincentennial while showcasing Ruger’s American manufacturing roots.

Every firearm in the collection is marked with the inscription:

“Made in the 250th Year of American Liberty.”

The newest additions include the SR1911, two Hawkeye bolt-action rifles, the iconic No. 1 single-shot rifle, and two Marlin Model 1894 lever actions.

Ruger's 250th Anniversary Series features limited-edition firearms, including the SR1911 pistol, Hawkeye rifles, Marlin Model 1894 lever-action rifles, and the Ruger No. 1 rifle.

The Crown Jewels

Several of the new models will be especially appealing to collectors because only 250 examples of each will be produced.

That includes:

  • Hawkeye in .30-06 Springfield
  • Ruger No. 1 in .375 Ruger
  • Marlin Model 1894 in .44 Remington Magnum

Each features polished blued steel, extensive engraving, and gold-plated accents that make them look more like presentation pieces than hunting rifles.

The Hawkeye also sports a jeweled bolt, express-style sights, and a beautifully figured American black walnut stock complete with an ebony fore-end tip.

Meanwhile, the No. 1 continues Ruger’s tradition of elegant single-shot rifles with matching patriotic engraving and premium walnut furniture.

Marlin Joins the Celebration

Marlin’s contribution may end up being one of the most popular.

The commemorative Model 1894 in .44 Magnum features a detailed engraving of a bald eagle carrying a “250th Anniversary” banner on the receiver, along with brass sights and gold accents that pair nicely with the rifle’s classic lines.

A second stainless Model 1894 chambered in .45 Colt joins the lineup with a more understated commemorative engraving while retaining the same timeless lever-action appeal.

A Patriotic 1911

Fans of John Browning’s legendary handgun aren’t left out either.

Ruger’s commemorative SR1911 receives engraved patriotic artwork across the slide along with custom grip panels featuring intricate scrollwork.

Unlike the rifles limited to 250 units, Ruger plans to build 1,776 examples of the pistol. A fitting nod to the nation’s founding year.

Built to Celebrate America

Across the entire collection, Ruger blends premium finishes with practical guns that we already know well.

Rather than making entirely new models, the company chose to dress up some of its most recognizable platforms with patriotic engravings, walnut stocks, and commemorative markings celebrating 250 years of American liberty.

If recent America 250 releases from companies like Cabot, Henry, and Chiappa are any indication, these Rugers likely won’t stay on dealers’ shelves for long. For pricing and additional information, click HERE.
