Police have arrested a suspect in the deadly livestream shooting that rocked the Las Vegas Strip late Sunday night. The suspect, 41-year-old Manuel Ruiz, turned himself in at a local police station after an 11-hour manhunt.
The shooting happened just before 11 p.m. in front of the Bellagio Hotel’s iconic fountains, where a livestream captured the chaos as gunfire erupted and terrified tourists fled the scene.
Ruiz now faces two counts of open murder with a deadly weapon. Authorities told NBC News they are not yet specifying the degree of the charges, leaving it to the courts to decide.
According to police, Ruiz had a history of online conflict with one of the victims, suggesting the shooting may have stemmed from a personal feud.

The identity of the second victim remains unclear, and investigators are still determining whether that individual was targeted or caught in the crossfire.
NBC correspondent Sam Brock noted the rarity of such violence on the Strip, calling it “unnerving” given the location and the fact it was livestreamed in real time.
“You are watching in real time on YouTube as a murder is executed,” Brock reported.
Despite the disturbing footage, police say the livestream wasn’t what led to the arrest. Ruiz walked into the station and surrendered voluntarily.
The shooting marks a chilling echo of past livestreamed violence, including the 2015 on-air shooting of a news crew in Virginia.
As of now, authorities are reviewing Ruiz’s online activity as part of their investigation.
