Cabot Guns has officially launched Faith, the first release in its bold new Seven Virtues series—an exclusive, hand-engraved 1911 pistol inspired by the 16th-century works of Pieter Bruegel the Elder.
Limited to just seven pistols per year, Faith debuts as a true collector’s cornerstone, blending fine art, moral philosophy, and elite gunsmithing.
Each Faith pistol is meticulously engraved by FEGA Master Engraver Lee Griffiths and serialized 1 through 7. The design draws from Bruegel’s original etching of “Faith” from his Seven Virtues series, created in collaboration with engraver Philips Galle.
Through a series of intricate scenes—weddings, baptisms, Eucharistic rites—Faith captures belief as both deeply personal and communally shared.
The right grip panel features a Eucharistic moment set within a soaring Gothic cathedral. The right slide shows a wedding, a female scripture teacher, and onlookers—all reflecting the dynamic interplay of community and personal conviction.
On the left grip, a baptismal scene pulses with Bruegel’s signature realism, while the left slide bears the Latin inscription:
“Fides maximè à nobis conservanda est…” (“Faith above all must be preserved…”).
More than a gun, Faith arrives in a custom mahogany bookcase crafted by master woodworker Mark Huston. Designed to resemble a classic volume, the case includes leather patches and discreet magnetic closures, perfect for display or concealment.
And this is just the beginning. Owners of Faith will have first rights to purchase future installments—Prudence, Justice, Temperance, Fortitude, Hope, and Charity—as they are released annually over the next six years.
