Obviously the best choice from the “plastic fantastics” to save money! The P2000 and P22x served Texas extremely well. The office workers and weak can carry 9 mini mouse… and those in the field can carry .357 SIG for maximum effectiveness with barriers and .45 ACP/.40 S&W for soft targets in congested environments.
Glock-leg is still legendary from how often the design aided ND frequency explosion after being rarities with the S&W 39 & 59 series, SIG P22Xs, and Beretta 92FS’s yet say revolvers. Always the users fault… but designs either aid or minimize it.
SIG has 1000s more to go! The military gives them 10xs the opportunity to catch up fast… but obviously it is a more impressive design since even the lowest denominator of soldier is apparently handling safely.
