Shotgun

Langdon Tactical Technology has turned its attention to one of America’s most familiar defensive pump guns with the release of the new LTT Mossberg 590.

The American shotgun market is huge, but it’s not necessarily ruled by American shotguns anymore.

Benelli has introduced an entirely new tactical shotgun platform built around a rear-mounted gas system.

The Benelli M2-G1 brings a new Rear Piston Operated gas system to a hard-use tactical shotgun. I fed it cheap birdshot, rusty water-damaged shells, suppressed strings, and rapid fire, and several hundred rounds later it still had not malfunctioned.

The Benelli Super Black Eagle 3 A.I. BE.S.T. is a premium waterfowl shotgun built to laugh at ugly weather, run filthy conditions, and throw impressively tight patterns. It is expensive, no doubt about it, but this thing feels purpose-built for hunters who want top-end reliability and field-ready refinement.

The Tokarev TT 12 Pro is an AR-style 12-gauge shotgun that showed up cheap, ran clean, and refused to choke on low-velocity shells, buckshot, or slugs. For about $365, this box-magazine-fed semi-auto came to fight.

The idea is simple: keep your support hand forward, maintain control, and cycle the action without shifting your grip.

The American-made Charles Daly Honcho looks like a budget-minded 12-gauge bruiser built for tight spaces and rough work. But once the shooting starts, this compact pump reveals a split personality: smoother and better finished than expected, yet still saddled with reliability issues serious enough to kill the deal.

In a recent video, the AK Guy dusted off one of the most infamous 12-gauges ever imported and finally gave it the range day it’s been begging for since the Xbox Live glory days.
