The San Bernardino County homeowner shot at the burglars, hitting two, before they fled. The burglars left the scene in a white sedan. 

The homeowner confronted the two intruders. They had pried open a window and were climbing through when he found them. 

The homeowner woke up Sunday morning to his dog barking. He went to his second-story balcony and found someone trying to break in. 

Early Sunday morning, noises on the West Chester house’s balcony caught the homeowner’s attention. He suspected an intruder and found 22-year-old Isaiah Erickson in his apartment.

Shortly after midnight, several 911 calls reported a shooting, according to the Las Vegas Metro Police Department. Brandon Durham, the homeowner at the location of the shooting, made one of those calls.

Tampa Bay Times identified the intruder as 46-year-old Tony Sei. Sei entered the Hillsborough County home around midnight in an armed intrusion.

A homeowner in Washington shot a suspected thief earlier this week when he caught him prowling around a car. Another homeowner in Oklahoma shot a burglar in his kitchen.

“Two suspects entered a residence with an occupant inside,” Muniz said. According to Fox News, the 56-year-old homeowner defended himself with a semi-automatic handgun.
