Alec Baldwin was caught on camera threatening to “snap” the neck of Donald Trump impersonator Jason Scoop outside the actor’s New York City home.
The incident, covered by Sky News Australia (see video below), unfolded when Scoop heckled Baldwin about the 2021 “Rust” shooting tragedy.

Scoop, staying in character, responded with mock bravado.
“Alec Baldwin, ladies and gentlemen! Class Act, believe me,” he chided.
Baldwin’s frustration appeared to boil over as Scoop continued his impersonation, leading Baldwin to repeatedly tell him to “get out of here.”

The confrontation highlights the continued fallout from the “Rust” shooting incident, where Baldwin was charged with involuntary manslaughter following the accidental death of cinematographer Halyna Hutchins.
Though the case was dismissed in July 2024, Baldwin has reportedly struggled with PTSD since the tragedy.

However – I watched that whole video and I’m here to tell ya, if I were Baldwin, I’d got pissed off too. The guy got all up in Baldwins ‘grill’ and goaded him to the point he lost his temper. Yeah, I cringed when I heard that cheap shot humor. The woman killed, Halyna Hutchins, seemed lovely. Just to clarify my opinion, the “wrong” was to the Hutchins family, not Alec Baldwin.
In 2017, a Huntington Beach LEO, shot and killed an attacker who was caught on video trying to gain control of the officer’s gun. Baldwin wise cracked online, “I wonder how it must feel to wrongfully kill someone.” Instead of reassessing himself, Baldwin has doubled down on his victim complex, his temper is dangerously out of control, and he has never shown any regret for his history of cheap shots and callous comments. Instead of avoiding controversy, Baldwin seeks attention in a “reality” tv show when he should probably be under professional observation.
Apparently Mr. Baldwin has had anger management issues his whole life. He’s just another rich Hollywood elitist that’s used to getting his way, and if he doesn’t, he has temper tantrums. Sadly for the people around him, they have to tolerate that kind of nonsense.
About 25 or 30 years ago, a friend of mine was flying back from Cali and witnessed him blow up and berate his young daughter in the airport. I guess at that time Kim Basinger was going through the legal system to divorce him. My friend went to court and testified on her behalf to what he witnessed. Obviously she was appreciative. I’m a firm believer one day we all have to answer to a higher power. I’d hate to be in his shoes when that day comes.
And there was an abusive telephone message Alec Baldwin left for his daughter that Kim Basinger leaked to the press. So, for every incident that has been seen in public there must be at least a dozen that occurred without public witnesses. Glad Kim finally got free from this powder keg.
