Around 3 a.m. on Lakeview Circle, deputies say a man tried forcing his way inside a residence, only to be met with gunfire from someone inside.
The suspect was hit, taken to the hospital, and is expected to survive, per WSPA 7 News. But instead of sympathy, he’s looking at a stack of criminal charges once he’s discharged.
