Shooting SIG's SUR (Suppressed Upper Receiver) - Only One Tax Stamp Required!

SIG’s new Suppressed Upper Receiver was requested by SOCOM. It’s chambered in 300 BLK, and its built-in suppressor only requires one stamp.

We got a chance to shoot SIG Sauer’s new Suppressed Upper Receiver (SUR) at SHOW Show 2019. It’s chambered in 300 BLK, and its integrated suppressor is welded to the barrel and since it’s 16 inches overall, it only requires one tax stamp to own it.

It’s fun to shoot, pretty quiet and fits standard AR-15s. Availability and MSRP are coming soon. Check out SIGSauer.com for more details.

It looks like an MCX upper, so I’m guessing it’s piston. Plus there’s no buffer tube on that rifle, so it’s certainly not a standard AR DI system (or standard AR piston system for that matter).

Now this is the kind of thing the 300 blackout was made for! Just need to get rid of the tax stamp and welding and we’d be in business!

I don’t see it on Sig’s website. DI or piston? MSRP?
