BELLEVUE, WA – As far-left Socialist Democrat Zohran Mamdani’s campaign to be the next New York City mayor rolls like a juggernaut toward next Tuesday’s election, a violent rap video showing a younger Mamdani waving a pistol around has surfaced to haunt him.
The Citizens Committee for the Right to Keep and Bear Arms says the wannabe Big Apple mayor, who called for a ban on all gun ownership in 2022, deserves the exposure. The video was, according to the Washington Free Beacon and Rolling Stone, made several years ago when Mamdani performed under the alias “Young Cardamom.” Included is one scene depicting a man being shot in the head at point blank range.
“Here’s a guy who is running to become New York’s next mayor, and who has vowed to launch a national gun ban effort if he is elected,” noted CCRKBA Chairman Alan Gottlieb, “yet he appeared in this terrible video which essentially promoted irresponsible, violent use of firearms. He’s not a political leader, he’s a huckster with a slick sales pitch that unfortunately is appealing to far too many New Yorkers. Even Politico describes him as a ‘34-year-old political star with zero executive experience.’ For him to claim some moral high ground on the gun issue is insult to the national intelligence.”

The Free Beacon story quotes Mamdani declaring, “As mayor, I will lead calls to ensure that we pass the legislation necessary beyond New York, such that every New Yorker can rest assured that we need not prepare for the next iteration of this horrific mass shooting.” He made the statement following the July shooting in a Manhattan office building involving a man who traveled across the country, violating existing gun laws in New York and New Jersey in the process.

“True to the anti-gun mindset of denial,” Gottlieb observed, “Mamdani didn’t acknowledge the complete failure of existing gun control laws to prevent that tragedy. He just wants to double down, erasing a constitutionally-protected fundamental right. Based on his video experience, maybe Mamdani shouldn’t own a gun, but that doesn’t mean tens of millions of level-headed, responsible American gun owners should give up their rights just to stroke this guy’s ego.
“Mamdani’s gun ban agenda is wrong for New York City and our constitutional rights,” Gottlieb said. “It is clear his ideas are wrong for America, especially when it comes to the Second Amendment.”

I do like the way the video ended though. Makes perfect sense if you need to protect yourself and don’t know any fancy moves or are just not as strong as some young punk robber or mugger.
I’m old and getting fragile and if I’m attacked a nice handy hand gun would be just the thing to end a scuffle before it really starts. I recently had reason to “brandish” my weapon as this idiot was beating on my car door. He and his son were blocking me from leaving a store parking lot and when I called 911 the police were there very quickly. When I told the officer what happened he asked me if I had a gun and I said yes, it’s sitting on the seat of my car where you can see it. I was out of the car to talk to him and he was fine with that. I LOVE Arizona LEOs and the laws.
It isn’t the fact we are seeing more and more anti Constitution candidates, but rather seeing more and more fools backing them. We need to identify the causes that are creating more socialist/communist ideology here in America and disable them. The wacko’s really started to rise around 2009+. Who was our Commander in Chief then? I think he did a lot to enable it.

Yeaaah…that’s not the same guy…at all. I’m all for the “gotcha” moments. But that literally isn’t him in that spoof rap video. If that’s the best folks can dig up then he must be pretty squeaky clean. Regardless of my disdain for his stance on guns.
It’s hard to say for sure but the ears look the same and the nose looks the same but the new beard disguises the shape of the chin and jawline so you could be right but I think you’re wrong. Looks like a matter of opinion.

Bah, do you know that Mamdani has another bad taste rap video where he praises a group of Muslims, the “Holy Land Five,” for raising more than $12 million for Hamas? It sure seems like the same guy in both videos and Mamdani has owned the one and not disclaimed the other. Mamdani is facing criminal referrals for taking illegal campaign donations. The wealthy politician benefits from his “rent stabilized” apartment even though that program is intended for lower income NY’ers. M refuses to condemn the call foe “globalized intifada” which was pretty offensive to the families of those killed on 9/11. M denies being a Communist but will readily admit to being a “Democrat Socialist” but he, like Karl Marx, called for the “seizing the means of production.”
So that’s the guy you call “squeaky clean.” He has relevant experience but his reputation if NOT “squeaky clean” and it will only get worse. Actually, once again, you seem bogus. If you are really a “common sense conservative” than name the top 3 examples of political conservatives, you do support?
New Yorker’s deserve what they get. These ae the same idiots that could look at their skyline and NOT SEE the World Trade centers and then vote for Hussein Obama a devout Muslim. They are plagued with gang crime and thugs and yet turn them back out onto the streets. Let them elect this idiot and watch him Defund the police. I truly hope not one dollar of Federal funds go to New York. As Babylon the great falls, and great that fall will be, we can all sit back and enjoy the show of what happens when you vote for your feelings instead of using critical thinking. I am sure several nearby states will welcome the refugees which will flee from that city.
