A woman fatally shot during an Immigration and Customs Enforcement operation in Minneapolis has been identified as 37-year-old Renee Nicole Good, according to the Star Tribune.
Reporting from the scene, NBC News correspondent Maggie Vespa said multiple U.S. officials and lawmakers confirmed Good was a U.S. citizen. And she was not the target of the ICE operation underway at the time of the shooting.
Local officials emphasized that point as protests quickly formed near the intersection where the incident occurred.
According to the Trump administration, the ICE officer involved fired in self-defense after Good drove her vehicle toward him. They called it an act of “domestic terrorism.”
Today, in an act of domestic terrorism, an anti-ICE rioter weaponized her vehicle against law enforcement. Our officer relied on his training and saved his own life, as well as the lives of his fellow officers.

Vespa reported that demonstrators at the scene consistently rejected the administration’s characterization.
Witnesses told the station they did not see an attempt to strike an officer. Instead, they said the footage appears to show Good attempting to steer away and flee as multiple officers surrounded her vehicle.

Good’s mother told the Star Tribune that the circumstances surrounding her daughter’s death were “so stupid.” She added that she believed her daughter was likely terrified in the moments leading up to the shooting.
As protests grew throughout the day, demonstrators repeatedly chanted Good’s name. They shared and discussed the video footage among themselves.

Anger toward ICE was widespread at the scene, with many calling for accountability as the Department of Homeland Security continues what officials have described as a historic ICE operation.

At this stage, investigations are ongoing, and no final determination has been made regarding the legality of the shooting. Obviously, there’s a lot to unpack.

Donald Trump has called for mass arrests among Minnesota’s Somali community as the state reels from the fatal shooting of a 37-year-old U.S. citizen by a federal immigration agent.
“Arrest them all. They are criminals!!!” the president wrote on Truth Social early Thursday, linking to a story by right-wing outlet Just the News about cash transfers to Somalia from the Minneapolis airport.
Trump’s post comes just a day after Renee Nicole Good was shot dead in Minneapolis by an ICE agent sent to carry out immigration raids in the city, home to the largest Somali community in the United States.
The president has repeatedly attacked that same community over the past several months, describing Somalia as “filthy, dirty, disgusting, ridden with crime” and those of Somali descent as “garbage.”
I might add that there are over 107,000 Somalis’ in Minnesota and by Herr Drumpf waving his racist wand declared all are enemies to be deported even though most are U.S. citizens. A.H. in Nazi Germany said the same things about Jews, Gypsies, Liberals, and White German Political dissidents. Does all this sound familiar?????? It should if you did not flunk History 101 assuming you had it.

Capitol LEO, Lt. Michael Byrd was awarded the Congressional Gold Medal after he had shot and killed Air Force veteran Ashli Babbit while she attempted to enter a room through a shattered window. Byrd was never charged with a crime after an “internal investigation.” The shootings of Babbit and Good could be compared and contrasted to determine the legality of both cases.
Certainly, the left-wing mobs that follow ICE throughout the US pretend to care so much about the perceived rights of illegal aliens but never act with the same concern of legal citizens like Babbit. More than likely, the real motive of the left is hatred for the current system and the majority who want to maintain our Constitutional Republic.
So, it has been reported that former Lt. Michael Byrd is running day care center out of his Maryland home and seems to be raking in a good amount of cash. Is his center “accredited”? Is he another fraudster? Maybe he will end up in jail after all.

Three video’s clearly show the woman waving one of the ICE vehicles through and around her.
One of the other ICE vehicles stopped and told the woman to move her car. Her response was not audible but a second thug ICE Storm Trooper tried to yank her out of the car.
A 3rd Ice Storm Trooper then placed himself off to the right of the front of the care “In clear violation of training” and pointed his gun at her. Rules also state that he was not allowed to shoot at a moving car.
She then clearly turned her wheels clear to the right attempting to escape being arrested and attempted to drive away when the Masked Gestapo Thug blew here away with 3 shots to the head and then calmly stode back to his vehicle clicking his jackboots as if nothing much had happened. Shades of Nazi Germany all over again. What is next, 100 degree box cars full of people on their way to gas chambers????? Already the ICE is demanding “Papers Quickly and Now” because your skin is 2% darker than “legal white”.
