If you believe the internet, there’s a new mystery brewing around the Charlie Kirk assassination — and it’s not about who pulled the trigger.
In a recent breakdown, commentators Baron Coleman and James Li highlighted a series of Google Trends data points suggesting that someone in Washington, D.C. searched terms like “Tyler James Robinson,” “Losee Center,” and “Mauser 98” before the September 10 shooting in Utah.
According to the clip, searches for Robinson — the 22-year-old accused shooter — appeared in D.C. data on September 9, a day before the attack.
Likewise, the Losee Center, the rooftop where the shooting occurred, registered searches in D.C. two days before the event. To their point: either it’s a statistical glitch, or someone in the nation’s capital was looking into this before it happened.

To be clear, there is no confirmed evidence that these searches came from government offices or media insiders. Google Trends normalizes data by region, meaning small numbers of searches can appear magnified in areas with fewer total searches.
Still, the data sparked questions online — especially after some of those trend blips later disappeared from Google’s reports.
So what are we dealing with here — a legitimate digital breadcrumb, or a coincidental cluster of meaningless data points?
Coleman and Li contend the pattern is too odd to ignore. The rifle term “Mauser 98” reportedly saw a spike in searches from D.C. on August 27, weeks before the shooting — the only time that month it showed up in local results.
“Once is happenstance,” Li says. “Twice is coincidence. Three times is enemy action.”
Skeptics, on the other hand, say the math does not add up. Google’s data samples are small, rounded, and subject to fluctuations. A few searches from random users or journalists researching weapons could easily explain the spikes.
And as Li notes, anyone trying to replicate his searches later could not — Google’s results no longer show the same hits.
That raises questions. Did Google remove the data? Did the Trends algorithm update? Or are people chasing patterns where none exist?
We have seen this before: early data, wild speculation, and a flood of what-ifs that never quite get pinned down. Still, in the age of instant sleuthing, it is easy to see why people are curious — especially when the phrase “D.C. search activity before an assassination” appears in the same sentence.

If Kirk was shot from a Mauser 98, it would have taken his head clean off and the bullet would be in the wall behind him! A 98 can stop a full grown elephant and the idea that the bullet stayed in the body is ludicrous!
They don’t have a bullet to compare ballistics to, they don’t have an autopsy, they don’t have a death certificate! So prove in a court of law that Kirk was shot, Kirk is dead, that he was killed by a gun shot and the bullet was fired from the rifle they allegedly found! They can’t! This whole affair stinks, oh and add to this the fact that an untrained shooter made that 200 yd shot.

More than likely the author knows that Kirk was hit in the neck and believes that the damage would have been so massive that neck and head would have been destroyed. I am no expert on terminal ballistics, and neither are you, but I have watched videos of a gelatine and artificial skulls that are obliterated by 3006. Was the Mauser converted to another caliber? Why are those FACTS being withheld?
There is little to no information being released by the official investigation including the caliber or the projectiles you have somehow identified. I do remember that an Andrew Kolvet from the Charlie Kirk show claimed that the attending surgeon that tried to save Kirk, in spite of your medical determinations, claimed that an “an absolute miracle” occurred, and the “bullet” never exited the body and thus saved anyone in a potential impact area. Where did you get your information?

We live in very strange online times these days. Not to mention the distinct feeling of escalating government and media corruption. Anything is possible on the internet, especially with the quickly advancing AI. A popular belief is that there are no coincidences. As for myself, I’m starting to believe that is true. Virtually anything can be “put together” with AI and conspiracy theories can very easily be created. So how did JFK really die and what really happened with Charlie Kirk? Don’t hold your breath for the truth about either for we’ll never know.

How many murder investigations do we see where there is no police tape cordoning off an area, no police scrounging the area searching for evidence, no forensic teams with their bags and cameras? When do we civilians allowed into the site of a murder removing evidence? If he was alive, why was no first aid administered at the site of the shooting? Why did the ambulance parked nearby not engage immediately? If you believe anything that the government or the media tells you in this day and age, you need your head examined.

I don’t know about a huge conspiracy, but I do think it’s very odd that the instant he’s hit you hear the sound of the rifle. At that range it would take approximately 0.4 seconds for the sound to reach the mic. The projectile is moving much faster than that.
Mea culpa; i was searching for info on a mauser 98, a smallring mexican a local gunshop was selling as a spanish mauser, which had been rechambered. I wanted another barrel and an unmodified bolt, and a redfield mount to replace the weaver blocks. I’m, like, a hundred miles from where that went down…
It’s a breadcrumb if it was all done by the same person. Then, was it the shooter, a co-conspirator, or something deeper? With it this thin, it’s no more than a thin lead, and I would not give it any credence without a lot more to go on.
It was definitely a planned op, with all of these findings combined with the unexplainable autopsy results which do not fit with the supposed shooter’s location or .30-06 ballistics.
The most often cited “fact” is that there’s no way Charlie could have been shot with a .30-06 at 200 yards and NOT have the bullet go through him, therefore (they say) he HAD to have been shot up close and personal.
Anyone who as ever hunted and recovered a bullet from INSIDE a deer knows this is total BS and oversimplification.
Bullet manufacturers strive to make their bullets expAnd to expEnd all their energy INSIDE of game animals, some do it far better than others.
There are many websites which collect data on “bullets recovered from game animals” (I won’t cite them here, but suggest you do a web search yourself for them based on those search terms) showing photos of animals MUCH smaller in diameter than a human being where ostensibly “high-powered” rounds have been trapped under the skin on the opposing side of the animal.
There were reports from the surgeon who attended to Charlie’s injuries that the bullet may have fragmented (they do that, many recovered bullets are only 75-80% or original mass) and gone up into his brain. This makes sense as his immediate posture upon being hit was what is called “decorticate”, meaning his brainstem was severed (see: decorticate vs. decerebrate posturing).

The Internet is easily led. Determining the source location of a search is not that simple. How many VPN servers terminate in DC? Furthermore, what is the implication? Operatives and conspirators are googling the requisite antique rifles and maps from DC before their assassination Black OP on a conservative Christian kid? This is pure click bait.
You are 100% correct. I’ve seen a “soft point” .30-30 lodged in deer cartlidge that looked to be pristine. My bigger concern is how did the shooter get the rifle on the roof with no one reporting it. Utah is an open carry state but if you see something, say something.
I would like to see a reenactment of the rifle in evidence being transported in the clothes of someone with a similar build as Robinson. The rifle would probably be around 44″s and should be visible as the person runs along the roof, jumps down to the ground. Never could see anything close to resembling a large rifle. Would love to know how Robinson planned and prepared for this assassination. Would love to know where the rifle is when Robinson is supposedly caught on camera inside a campus building. Many tough challenges for the prosecution and I am willing to be opened to the best evidence. Hopefully, the jury will want the truth instead of blind rage.
Somewhat unrelated topic, but the same thing has happened to me with Google searches as I was doing research on “Climate Change” about 4 years ago. I would initially skim through a number of NASA files for information. When I tried to go back, or search for those sites to be able to cite them, all I would get was “buy climate change on TEMU.” I know it sounds ridiculous, but this is actually what happened. To this day I cannot Google these NASA pages.
It didn’t surprise me at all that this happened to Baron Coleman and James Li. Now they are conveniently in the certified kook fringe, conspiracy theory class. Everything they write now will have a taint that can be associated with them.
Google is not about truth, facts or information. With the volume of available information, old school library research is impossible.
