At the 2024 NRAAM, GunsAmerica caught up with SDS Imports to unveil a head-turner in the shotgun market, the Bull Pump.
This isn’t just any 12 gauge bullpup; it’s pump-assisted, allowing for incredibly fast action—just let go and it slides forward on its own.
Equipped with an 18.5-inch barrel and compatible with Benelli choke tubes, the Bull Pump is both versatile and speedy.
It features an aluminum upper receiver and is magazine-fed, with options ranging from 5 to 20 rounds, even accommodating drum magazines.

Despite its robust features, what really turns heads is the price—just $299 MSRP. It might just be the coolest gun you can snag for under three hundred bucks.
The Bull Pump comes with a full Picatinny rail on top and an AR-style safety.
The only hitch? The trigger’s a bit heavy, but that’s a small trade-off.
For more details, check out SDS Imports’ website. And stay tuned—GunsAmerica plans to bring this shotgun in for a full review.
Would you grab this $299 scattergun?

I don’t see it on their website. They talk about a semi-automatic shotgun that looks similar for $319 but no pump action in a bullpup design.
Absolutely I would be interested in one! But only if it’s well made and reliable. That should make a great home defense weapon. Or even for crowd control.
I’ve never owned a bull-pup shotgun, but after looking at the specs and watching videos it has me wondering why. I have a Mossberg 500 Marine with a 18.5″ barrel that serves double duty as a home defense scatter-gun and on my fishing boat when I run offshore. The Mossberg is 36″ over all and holds 3&1 using 3″ shells. The Tokarev bull-pup also has a 18.5″ barrel, but the LOA is only 26″. That’s quite a difference!
I could not find the pump version mentioned in this article on their website, so after watching several u-tube videos on the semi-auto version, I just ordered the marine/nickel semi-auto version (TBP 12M) to try out. The out-the-door price at Palmetto was $286 for the semi-auto version. Not bad – IF it is reliable!
When it arrives, I’ll take it to my club and put four or five boxes of mixed high and low brass loadings through it and see how it runs. I’ll post my results. 🫡
Yea, have to hold it in my hands and give it an in person once over, but yea if it checks out. I especially like the features per price. My current is a 500 Mossberg w/wood and an 18″ tube, wanting in the capacity dept.
Interesting pump action. I might could own one.
