The Smith & Wesson M&P15T II is a 5.56mm NATO AR-pattern modern sporting rifle built around a 16in 4140 chrome-moly-vanadium barrel and a mid-length gas system. It ships with a 30+1 capacity magazine and folding Magpul MBUS backup sights. The rifle features a full-length free-float aluminum M-LOK handguard, a Magpul CTR carbine stock, an M&P-style pistol grip with interchangeable palmswell inserts, ambidextrous controls (including an ambidextrous charging handle), and a flat-face trigger for a more consistent trigger break. The upper and lower are forged 7075 T6 aluminum with a black finish.
