The Savage 110 Ultralite is built around a factory blueprinted Savage 110 action fitted with a PROOF Research carbon fiber–wrapped stainless steel cut-rifled barrel. This 58321 configuration is chambered in 7mm Backcountry with a 20 in (50.8 cm) carbon-wrapped barrel and a threaded 5/8-24 muzzle with flush-fit cap. The rifle features a lightweight stainless steel receiver with a Melonite finish, a Grey AccuFit stock with overmold surfaces, a user-adjustable AccuTrigger, a spiral-fluted bolt, and a detachable box magazine.
