Zero Compromise Optic’s ZC210 Is An LPVO? — SHOT Show 2025

in Riley Baxter, SHOT Show 2025

Budget beware, the ZC210 is a new, premium riflescope that performs like any product from Zero Compromise Optic. This means you can expect the best optical clarity, the most accurate tracking, and the highest level of ruggedness and reliability.

At SHOT Show this year, the ZCO team revealed this new LPVO and several new reticles which were designed specifically for this optic across multiple applications.

Optical Advantage

The ZC210, as can be inferred from the name, is a 2-10x magnification LPVO (low-power variable optic).

Though other companies have produced similar LPVOs, the ZC210 is the best executed due to the included side parallax adjustment, 30mm objective lens, 36mm tube, and a unique eyepiece design with a locking diopter.

This combination is one of Zero Compromise Optic’s secrets to getting better optical quality and a flatter field of view.

The ZC210 is designed to be an LPVO that provides the best optical clarity, adjustments, and reticles among its competitors.

Another secret to getting better optical quality is in the 2-10x magnification selection. By opting to go with this zoom range over a 1-10x range, ZCO cut the magnification from 10x to 5x zoom.

This is acceptable to me because you are better off with an offset red dot in extremely close quarters while keeping both eyes open because even if the LPVO was on 1x, you still have a 48mm eyepiece blocking your peripheral view versus a much smaller red dot.

Traditionally, LPVOs don’t have a parallax adjustment. However, tradition does not define necessity. Without an adjustable parallax, LPVOs are usually set for 150-200 meters.

Because the ZC210 has parallax adjustment, it can be adjusted perfectly between 8 meters to infinity. This provides utmost precision in CQB and long-range shooting alike.

Illumination

The ZC210 features Zero Compromise Optic’s standard illumination, which means that it has both red and green illumination available. It also includes their AIM function which turns the illumination on or off if there is no motion or if the optic exceeds certain angles.

With its purpose-built design, of course, it features night-vision compatible illumination levels plus higher output levels for use in daylight and everything in between. The illumination system is powered by a single CR2032 battery and is rated to be waterproof at 4m depths.

Up close, you can see the elevation turret is lifted into the unlocked position, ready to be adjusted. On the left, you can just see the parallax adjustment and illumination adjustment. The ZC210 has an MSRP of $3,650.

Turret System

For speed and ease of use, the ZC210 is outfitted with CCW turrets. This system provides -2 MRAD of adjustment below zero for CQB applications, plus 12 MRAD of adjustment above zero on a single rotation.

The windage turret is a bit different providing 7 MRAD of adjustment in both the right and left direction from zero. To prevent any accidental adjustment, both turrets lock by pushing them down. To make an adjustment, simply lift the turret up and turn.

This one-turn turret system pairs synergistically with the reticles that are available for the ZC210. If you need more horizontal or vertical adjustment, there is a lot of this available for use on each reticle option.

The design of these reticles was very well thought out and there are very in-depth explanations of each one on ZCO’s website, so please go check them out here.

As an overview, there are three options: the DMR, Predator, and HTR (hunting/tactical reticle) reticles available with this optic.
