At NRA 2025, Trijicon dropped a serious upgrade to its proven MRO series with the all-new MRO SD — a red dot optic specifically enhanced for use with magnifiers and night vision gear.

Our hands-on experience with the optic gave us a great first impression. The compact design makes it suitable for various applications, from dangerous game hunting to tactical use with night vision and thermal.

This design provides an illuminated reticle day or night with no batteries required that typically lasts at least 10 years.

That was one of the furthest shots I’ve even made with a thermal optic, at night, on a hog. My guide and fellow hunters were cheering my shot, and I certainly felt good about it. But I also knew the REAP-IR made the shot possible.
