Unfortunately, America is not unfamiliar with sociopaths taking the lives of innocent people. Each time an event like this occurs, several discussion points are raised and debated by the media, politicians and advocates on both sides of the gun divide.

Louisville Police Chief Steve Conrad defended his officer’s use of deadly force during Saturday’s fatal shooting and released CCTV footage of the incident to update the media on the ongoing investigation.

Looks like D.C. resident will have to wait a little bit longer before they are allowed to carry concealed.

“The vast majority [of negligent discharges] were people trained on the Beretta,” said Assistant Sheriff Todd Rogers. “There is a correlation, no doubt about it.”

“We believe that the rate of gun violence is too high and we believe that there is not enough information about the issue as a whole,” said Burnett. “As journalists, we have it as our mission to address that shortage of information.”

“The fact that we weren’t able to get Congress to support either (Immigration, Gun Control) one is really very, very disappointing.”

New York City is up there with Washington, D.C., San Francisco, Chicago in the race for anti-gun capital of the U.S. Yet, despite, rather, because of the Big Apple’s draconian gun laws, gun-related crime is out of control.
