I’m cataloging the gun myths decent people have been enduring in the struggle to preserve, protect and defend the right to keep and bear arms. I didn’t choose those verbs lightly.

As the Wall Street Journal reported this week, gun ownership and usage among senior citizens has risen dramatically over the past five years.

“He was keep reaching for my gun and I was really afraid,” Kim said. “I pulled my gun out and I shot him a couple times.”

I was thinking of what the future holds for our right to keep and bear arms. And the more I thought about the question, the farther out in time I began to contemplate it. So, what’s the future of the 2A in 15 years? In 50 years? In 100 years? In 500 years?
