Activist David Hogg just wants to save lives. He doesn’t want to repeal the 2A or confiscate anyone’s guns.

“THE SECOND AMENDMENT WILL NEVER BE REPEALED! As much as Democrats would like to see this happen, and despite the words yesterday of former Supreme Court Justice Stevens, NO WAY,” said president Trump on Twitter Wednesday.

Citi announced last week its plans to “restrict” gun sales by business partners. It will no longer do business with companies that sell bump-fire stocks and “high capacity” magazines.

If you don’t support gun control you are a child-hating bigot. Right?

To be abundantly clear, there is no grandfather clause in the NPRM.  In other words, this is confiscation, folks.

Emboldened by last week’s “March for Our Lives” demonstrations, former U.S. Supreme Court Justice John Paul Stevens has called for a full repeal of the Second Amendment.

After posting photos of their day at a shooting range on Snapchat, two New Jersey students were disciplined and suspended. School authorities flagged their behavior as dangerous because it involved guns even though it was a peaceful, non-threatening activity and post.

“Every classroom has been equipped with a five-gallon bucket full of riverstone,” he said. “If an armed intruder attempts to gain access to any of our classrooms, they will face a classroom full of students armed with rocks, and they will be stoned.”

This argument can be logically extended to social media platforms. It is time that social media platform management realizes its broader collective responsibility since it commands so much of today’s virtual public square.
