A Kansas restaurant chain is getting applause and a bit of negative feedback for their pro-gun policy after a pro-gun post on Facebook.

Casey Cagle and Brian Kemp vowed this week to stop online payment processors from discriminating against Georgia gun companies.

“Intuit didn’t care if I sold pool cues, or ax handles, or closet rods, or steel pipes, or big flashlights but they were all wound up about selling police batons to police officers,” said Sean DePriest, the president of National Police Supply in an email to GunsAmerica.

Persons under the age of 18 will no longer be allowed to view gun accessory ads on Facebook, the social networking site announced this week.

“One grocery store doesn’t get so big that it lends and borrows and buys and sells from nearly every other grocery store in the country. These banks do. A grocery store also doesn’t need or get an $812.3 billion bailout from the American taxpayers,” added Kennedy.

The U.S. Conference of Mayors has 1,400 members representing cities across the country with a population of 30,000 or more people. This week the bipartisan group went to Boston for its annual meeting, during which its members passed numerous gun control resolutions.

The Second Amendment Foundation scored a big victory this week in convincing an Illinois judge to swat back a draconian gun ban in Deerfield, Illinois that would fine those who refused to comply $1,000 per day.

“We are trying to get the same question answered,” said King in an email to GunsAmerica. “Unlike other states there are no public hearings on these bills and we have to rely on them answering questions. Since this is a Cuomo bill I expect the worst.”
