A case out of Oklahoma is raising uncomfortable questions about property rights, self-defense, and where the law draws the line when homeowners confront squatters.

The case originally began with plaintiff Elsid Aliaj, whose firearms were allegedly confiscated by authorities.

In other words, imagine driving 55 mph in 2023, then getting a speeding ticket in 2026 because somebody lowered the speed limit after the fact.

In short, what used to be a niche legal argument is rapidly becoming a mainstream constitutional fight.

The results showed that 29.8% of likely voters carry a concealed handgun at least occasionally, up from 24.3% in a similar survey conducted in December 2024.

Women, minorities, younger Americans, and urban residents all entered the firearms community in significant numbers.

Translation: Connecticut just lit another major Second Amendment fuse.

The ban itself was recently signed by Abigail Spanberger and is scheduled to take effect July 1.
