The rumor mill at SHOT Show is always in overdrive. With 80,000-plus vendors, distributors, exhibitors, media members in attendance, all there to showcase, try out and report on the latest and greatest industry products, rumors spread like wildfire.

A recent CBS report on how the Wounded Warrior Project spends money does not look good for the charity, and the organization is shooting back.

New products for 2016 include an updated SIG716 G2, M400 Scorpion AR pistols, a redesigned P210 and after a long tease, optics-ready P320 models.

Some things at SHOT Show are truly unique. At the Victorinox Swiss Army booth you could build your own pocketknife while raising money for charity. The show’s over, but there’s still the opportunity to get a great knife and help a worthy charity, too.

The Daka series of pouches is creating a lot buzz around the SHOT Show floor. Offered in three sizes (small, medium and large) the pouches are made of reinforced polymer fabric with permanent, impenetrable seals. The Freedom Watch has filed a lawsuit to fight the recent executive orders signed by the President to expand the background check system without Congressional approval. The lawsuit argues that the executive orders are outside of the scope of the President’s authority and circumvent Congress.
