“Though it’s too early to discuss performance, we’re optimistic these changes will better serve the athletes in these communities,” Dick’s CEO Edward Stack said in a conference call.

“People don’t realize that just because hunters go out and kill that they’re not humane or they don’t have those feelings about animals and the environment,” explained Slide.  “That’s the way we are. It captured who we are.”

NRA has good news for new and returning hunters in West Virginia. Residents can now take their hunter education course online, and with the NRA, it’s free.

“This is an important piece of legislation designed to safeguard North Carolina’s hunting heritage,” said NRA spokesman Lars Dalseide.
