Gun Review

Lighter, stronger, more accurate, and more capable; the M107A1 has truly been engineered for action.

A quick check on the web of prices for other 1911s chambered in 10MM had most models right around $1,000. Which made me wonder: at this relatively low price point, could the FS Tactical 1911 10mm pistol actually be any good?

Several years back, I took a small ring Mauser 96, in 6.5×5,5 and turned it into a scout-type rifle. It later became a more traditional rifle with normal scope mounts and a turned-down bolt. In that configuration it became my loaner, backup, knock-around rifle for friends and relatives that asked to borrow a rifle for impromptu hunts.

The Backcountry 2.0 lineup is available in four configurations including a steel or titanium action with either carbon fiber or traditional fluted barrel.

I really enjoyed shooting this pistol and I can’t wait for my 22suppressor to come in so I can complete the build.

American Gun Craft’s Desperado hand cannon looks like a double barrel 12 gauge shotgun but it is not a firearm under federal law. There is no gimmick here, Desperado is a hybrid black powder and percussion device you load from the front with black powder and shot then shoot it with a 209 shotgun primer.

I had a great time with this rifle, and I have no problem recommending it if you are in the market for a PCC.

Built in the USA, and customized by hand, the Elite Compact is the better Beretta for EDC.
