The Wildcat 22 packs an incredible amount of features into a sub-$300 price point. I’ve actually bought 2 now and have sold most of my semiautomatic 22LRs. I’ve been converted by Winchester’s thoughtful design choices and recommend this rifle for new shooters and anyone looking for a feature-packed plinker without breaking the bank.

Boys and Girls, this is perhaps the best week in guns we have ever seen. Eclipsing even the previous best week in 2019 when we got our full size XDM 10mm. Because as of today, we have a new contender in the CCW category that shoots God’s own Centimeter. As the High Priest of the Cult of the 10, I am more than unreasonably excited. I’m positively giddy.

CZ’s New 557 Eclipse Delivers Solid Performance at a Reasonable Price

CZ’s goal with the Eclipse was to distill the 557 down to its basics while retaining the same good barreled action in a package with a more affordable price tag. After putting an Eclipse chambered in 308 Win. through its paces, I would say that CZ has succeeded admirably.

The new DVG-1 corrects that by moving to a modern striker fired system. SCCY has some new blood at the company, and it really shows in this new blaster. Hold onto your hats, friends. The latest model is going to rock your socks off.

Christensen Arms has entered a newer, rapidly expanding section of the firearms market with their new bolt action chassis pistol, the Modern Precision Pistol. This new offering is basically their MPR chassis rifle shrunken down to a barrel length of 7.5-12.5″ depending on caliber. Don’t be fooled though, these short barrels still pack a punch while providing impressive accuracy.

Who needs another new home-protection and defense shotgun? I’m glad you asked! How can this one be any better than what’s already out there? That too, is a great question.

First, as many GunsAmerica readers may know, I am a self-avowed, unapologetic, fan of the Smith J frame series of revolvers. I have carried a J frame, of one model or another, on a daily basis for more than forty years.

I love the little Rancher Carbine. I have a ton of fun with it, but it’s a weird gun. It doesn’t do anything exceptionally well outside of being a fun novelty. It’s plenty reliable, has low recoil, has a great trigger, and is affordable. If you want a fun, albeit somewhat useless rifle, then the Rancher Carbine has you covered.
