What happens if you live in a “duty to retreat” state and you shoot an attacker who you believe wants to take your life or cause you serious bodily injury?

Utah police released footage of a deadly shooting between two Roy City officers and an armed suspect. The police used the suspect’s own gun in the fight.

The 23-year-old Oklahoma man who defended his home with an AR-15 against three teen intruders will not face charges.

Hardly any of the other customers even notice the man, let alone the gun. But it’s just a matter of time before they do.

“Preliminary investigation looks like it’s self-defense,” said Wagoner County Sheriff’s Deputy Nick Mahoney.

And that’s when you spot him: a man in hi-tops, baggy jeans and a light blue hoodie about 25 yards down the sidewalk, staring at your group.

“Stay on the line with me,” the dispatcher says. “We have officers en route to your location.”

Immediately, the assailant swings the nightstick at you, striking your car door and yelling, “Stay in your car, man!”

Your significant other has picked up on this too, and at times, can spot a DLR (“doesn’t look right”) or even a concealed carry purse.
