Thomas Armstrong spoke at the vigil for his son, Elias Armstrong, on Thursday night and said the man who shot his 12-year-old boy was acting like a vigilante. 

ABC 4 News reported that the 70-year-old homeowner and a female acquaintance were at a gas station prior to the break-in attempt.

Kudos to Duran for having the guts to act and keep more innocent bystanders from being shot.

In the grand scheme of things, this is a prime example of why pro-2A laws are a necessity in our country.
