A Gunfighter’s Dream: The Ed Brown Special Forces .45 ACP – Full Review

A Gunfighter’s Dream: The Ed Brown Special Forces .45 ACP – Full Review

I have been writing for over 35 years and until this project I’ve never owned or shot an Ed Brown 1911. When I contacted Ed Brown Products, I requested the Ed Brown Special Forces model, which has been the anchor of their pistols lineup for many years. If their base duty/personal-defense handgun was up to par, the other models would be also. I was not disappointed.

A Hybrid Hunting/Match Rifle? The Bergara 6.5 B-14 HMR – Full Review.

Not that long ago if you had asked me to find a rifle with a street price under $1,000 that had a fully adjustable stock with a detachable magazine system, was suppressor capable, was compatible with some Remington 700 parts, and had a 1 MOA guarantee, I would’ve said no way. However, Bergara USA has delivered just such a rifle in the form of their B-14 Hunting/Match Rifle.

Prize Fighter: The FN 15 Competition 5.56 AR – Full Review

The FN 15 Competition was tailor made for 3-Gun from the ground up. As the name implies, competitors must shoot their way through a series of stages that offer different types of challenges involving different-sized targets, movement, cover, and distances while switching out between pistol, shotgun and rifle.

If you package your reloads in a good plastic box, you can use that to make a last minute scan to check for consistent overall length and other things.

Reloading: Final Inspection and Packaging Tips

The very last step in the reloading process is inspection and packaging. After all is done, I like to combine the inspection and packaging steps. As I put each completed cartridge into a box, I look it over to make sure everything is in order.

A Mega-Capacity Sig Sauer P320? The 21+1 Full Size X-Five 9mm – Full Review.

My first thought when reading the breaking news of the new X-Five line was that SIG was making some neat looking cosmetic changes to the pistol and maybe a bell here or a whistle there. It wasn’t until I received the test sample of the P320 X-Five and immediately tore it apart before I realized that the mad scientists at SIG had done much more than that! It is a P320, and shares the same internal serialized chassis (or fire control group) as the rest of the series. But in just about every other way it is a completely new and different gun.
