President Joe Biden’s second nominee to lead the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF), Steve Dettelbach, answered questions from U.S. Senators in front of the Senate Judiciary Committee.

Authorities in Charleston, West Virginia, are hailing the brave and decisive actions of an armed female who they say “prevented a mass casualty event.”

“I think it’s reasonable to say: does a civilian need more than a 10-round magazine in their guns?” Jacobs asked.
