Authorities in South Carolina released dash cam footage recorded right before the fatal police shooting of Walter Scott in North Charleston.

President Barack Obama used to be the National Rifle Association’s public enemy number one. But I’d argue that his days of carrying that dubious honor are numbered, if not, already gone.

The title of this week’s column was named intentionally to mean more than just specifically what we will be talking about. Here we are now a year later, and for most of the country, this is a great time to start some seeds. Danger of a last freeze is quickly passing, and it is time for new things to grow.
