Stoeger Industries is adding a new pump-action shotgun with a side-folding stock to their Freedom Series, the P3000 Supreme. The Freedom Series is Stoeger’s bid to provide shooters with upgraded shotguns with extended magazine tubes at very competitive prices.
The P3000 Supreme is an eye-catching yet completely affordable pump shotgun with a side folding stock, pistol grip and tactical features including ghost-ring sights and an optics rail.
The factory stock is adjustable with six points of adjustment and an independent cheek riser to accommodate shooters of all sizes. The stock folds to the left and doesn’t interfere with the action so the shotgun can still be used with the stock folded to the side.
The stock also has a generous recoil pad and molded pistol grip to help combat felt recoil. While the P3000 Supreme isn’t a featherweight shotgun it’s not heavy either at 7.3 pounds unloaded.
That includes the 18.5-inch barrel and matching magazine tube. Loaded the P3000 Supreme has a 7+1-round capacity and the shotgun is chambered for 2-3/4- and 3-inch 12-gauge shells.
The barrel has a fixed cylinder bore for use with common loads for protection and home defense including slugs. In addition to being optics-ready the shotgun has multiple sling attachment points including on the stock and up front on the magazine tube extension.
While Stoeger Industries is an importer, working closely with Beretta, Benelli, and Uberti, one standout feature of the Freedom Series is its 922r-compliance. A lot of shotgun importers don’t bother to upgrade their imports with American-made parts leaving owners in a grey area regarding their products.

Not with the Freedom Series as they are 922r-compliant with factory extended mags to show for it, all at very nice price points. The P3000 Supreme has a suggested retail price of $469, with real-world and online pricing even lower.
With five models now the Freedom Series is shaping up to be a real winner for Stoeger, including both pump-action shotguns as well as semi-automatic shotguns. The most basic model is the M3000, a straightforward combat- or police-style pump shotgun at $339 and at the top end is their M3K 3-Gun model, a semi-automatic competition-ready shotgun priced at just $699.
If you’re looking for a featured shotgun at a low price with a 922r-compliance guarantee then Stoeger may have what you’re looking for with their Freedom Series.
