‘Star Wars’ Actor Mark Hamill Calls For Stricter Gun Control After Journalist Shooting

in 2nd Amendment – R2KBA, Authors, Brent McCluskey, This Week

“Star Wars” character Luke Skywalker may have chosen the Light Side, but actor Mark Hamill just crossed over to the Dark Side after tweeting about increased gun control measures in America.

After the fatal shooting of two news journalists in Virginia, the famous actor took to Twitter to express his political views.

After the Port Arthur shooting massacre of 1996 that left 35 dead and 23 wounded, Australia implemented a series of hyper strict gun control measures and a steadfast gun buyback program.

One such measure was the National Firearms Programme Implementation Act 1996, which seriously restricted the private ownership of firearms.

However, many of the measures implemented in Australia would be extremely difficult to implement in America.

“Luke … You can have my Light Sabre when you pry it from my cold dead hands.”

May the Force Stomp You!!! Look out for Darth Vader! He’s got an ASSAULT RIFLE and a LIGHT SABER!

Hey Hamill: Leave my Guns alone! Go play with Your Light Saber!

Please move to Australia or some other snowflake confederacy so that your hypocritical opinions will be appreciated.

how funny is it all these actors and Hollywood making money off of gun images and usage and violence that it wants to decry so much and restrict. Seems to me it should clean up its own act first and then comment. Oh whats that non-violence doesn’t sell?

Stick to watching your old space movies, dummy, leave the guns for the grown ups. Not everyone lives on the Set of a movie surrounded by armed guards and caterers.

I was really disappointed in what Mark Hamill said man was I wrong about him. In interviews and other places he seemed like such a nice guy. I was literally crushed when he said those things about Mitt Romney and how deceived he is about voting for Barack Obama. I am not just saying that, it really breaks my heart that he is willing to take away America’s constitutional right to own guns. I thought he was more sensible. Man was I wrong!

So this little b1t€h goes out and wins an intergalactic civil war. Now that his @$$ is in charge sure enough time to round up all the freedom loving trouble makers and take their guns in the name of “public safety,” so that nobody tries to blow up his space station. Well Mark two guesses where you can shove your light saber.

Maybe we just need stricter control on Star Wars movies, light sabers, and liberal democrat actors mouths. Or hers an idea, if you like Australia’s policies so much you could just go live there and feel safe.
    Idiot.

I think we just need stricter control on star wars movies, light sabers and liberal actors mouths.

Thanks Mark!!! No I can’t go see the new Star Wars movie!! All you had to do was keep your big trap shut and keep your opinions to yourself, but NOOOO!! You have to try to use your Hollywood influence to control other people. Therefore I cannot support you or your movies. Its a tough choice but sometime the right choice is a tough choice. I guess I will just have to wait till its released in a foreign country and pirate it. Way to go Mark!!

Why do his comments mean you can’t support Star Wars now? That’s so idiotic. Just because you don’t agree with him on something, doesn’t mean you should hate him or boycott Star Wars. It’s freaking Star Wars. Simply because you’re in love with your guns, and someone doesn’t share that same love, you will let that get in the way of Star Wars? You people are morons.

      • Cj August 31, 2015, 9:38 pm

Oh I’ll watch the movie hoping his butt gets blasted or fed to a sarac.

      • DRAINO September 27, 2015, 4:16 pm

If he was just an actor….and acted….no problem. But if he wants to open his fat mouth and try to use his Hollywood platform to try to strip people of their rights, then NO, I’m not going to see his movies or support anything he does. Why? For One because it’s my right to disagree if I want. For two…because I can…..I have earned the right. For three, because I really have an issue with someone that says I don’t have a right to defend my self, my family, or my country(A well regulated militia….) with a firearm. Who is HE to tell me I can’t??? And Four, I will do everything in my power to NOT give these Obama-tards any of the money that I earn. Last time I checked, its liberalism/socialism that is the failure…I could continue here but I’m not wasting any more breath on someone that won’t stand for what our constitution guarantees us. And, I never said I hated him, but I sure hate the fact that he obviously hates the freedoms that our country was founded on. If he or you don’t like it…..just leave……go to Australia. Leave us to wallow in our God-given freedoms. BTW…Australia is really regretting their lack of 2A rights at this point.

I’m sorry the more these people are supported by going to see their films in movie houses the more they think they matter, Wait until it fails in the theatres and then buy the blue ray if you must.
