Sturm, Ruger & Co., Inc. has introduced the Sixth Edition of the Ruger Collector’s Series, commemorating the 60th Anniversary of the 10/22 rimfire carbine.
This edition marks a significant milestone in the history of the 10/22 model.

The Sixth Edition of the Ruger Collector’s Series, released for the 60th Anniversary, comes with unique collector’s items.
It is aimed at those interested in starting or adding to a 10/22 collection, or simply acknowledging the model’s long-standing presence in the market.
Design and Features of the Anniversary Model
The 60th Anniversary edition features a stainless steel barrel and a silver-finished receiver, coupled with a Gray Magpul Hunter X-22 stock.

It includes a laser-engraved, blackened bolt with a 60th Anniversary marking. The model has a red bolt handle and trigger, and retains familiar 10/22 features like a blade front sight, adjustable rear sight, extended magazine release, and a Picatinny rail.

60 year anniversary and you get a plastic stock?
I love my 10/22’s but i also love my model 60. Ruger needs to produce these again sinse they are now the marlin owners, reguardless if it competes with the 10/22. The money from either goes into the same coffers. Oh, and should you decide to produce the 60 again try not to triple the price.
