RCBS rolls out the Matchmaster Precision Case Trimmer, a powered bench trimmer that trims, chamfers, and deburrs rifle brass in one pass. They collaborated with Henderson Precision to produce a machine that was effective, familiar, and easy to use.
Built With Precision Reloaders in Mind
RCBS teamed up with Henderson Precision to bring the Matchmaster Precision Case Trimmer to market. Shooters familiar with Henderson machines will recognize the layout right away. RCBS kept the core concept but added refinements aimed at repeatability and ease of use.
One of these refinements sits on the bottom of the unit. A built-in micrometer stop lets users dial in trim length and return to that setting every time. Once set, the trimmer repeats cuts consistently without guesswork. That matters when processing large batches of match brass and for repeatability between batches.

The Matchmaster Precision Case Trimmer handles trimming, chamfering, and deburring in a single motion. Users push the case in and pull it out completely finished. That cuts prep time significantly.
Caliber Range and Cutter Setup
Out of the box, the Matchmaster supports cartridges from .22 caliber up to .338 caliber. The kit includes most pilots needed for common cartridges. The .338 pilot does not ship with the base kit, but RCBS plans to sell it separately for around $10.
The system uses interchangeable pilots rather than proprietary cutter heads for each caliber. Users swap the pilot and adjust the blades to match the neck diameter. The same cutter head works across calibers.
For reloaders running multiple cartridges, RCBS also offers extra cutter heads. Many users will leave pilots installed in separate heads for quick caliber changes. Additional cutter heads should retail around $75, with street prices closer to $60.
Motor, Power, and Mounting
The Matchmaster runs on a 120-volt motor for U.S. and Canadian users. RCBS plans a 240-volt version for international markets. The motor spins at roughly 1,800 RPM, a speed chosen for clean, efficient cuts rather than raw power.
Mounting options are flexible. The base plate bolts directly to RCBS accessory base plates. Users can also mount it straight to a bench with standard hardware. RCBS includes a brass catcher bin in the kit to keep workspaces cleaner.
Pricing and Availability
RCBS expects the Matchmaster Precision Case Trimmer to hit the market within about a month. Pricing should land around $700.
This trimmer targets reloaders who want speed and consistency without juggling multiple tools. It costs more than manual options, but it aims to replace several steps with one controlled process.
I will definitely be looking to purchase a unit because I have a few wildcat cartridges that I load for that need to be trimmed as a final step. The Matchmaster Precision Case Trimmer would save me hours of work during every batch.
