So now Luke Skywalker decided to jump into the gun debate with a horrible take posting on Twitter/X:

He doesn’t even realize proving the gun community right when we say it’s not a gun problem. It’s a socio-economic problem.
He’s only comparing developed nations because clearly you’re going to have a higher gun homicide rate in a poor underprivileged country.
The problem is the vast majority of violence with a gun in the United States comes from poor underprivileged inner city areas! He’s essentially saying, “Of course, we expect more violence with a gun from poor, underdeveloped nations; they’re poor and underdeveloped.”

In the same way, most violence with guns comes from poor, undeveloped inner city areas. So it’s not a gun issue; it’s a poor and underdeveloped area issue.
According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, almost every major study on defensive gun use has found that Americans use their firearms defensively between 500,000 and 3 million times each year.
On the low end, well over 1000 people a day are saved by a gun, and over 8,000 people on the high end.
So, what color are you going to wear on #DefensiveGunUseDay? Or do people’s lives only matter when it comes to pushing gun control?

I was going to ask if Lucas Films was going to sue him for using a photo of him in his Luke Skywalker space suit.
Then I remembered that the Star Wars franchise is now owned by Disney. Since he died and evaporated in his last Star Wars appearance, he might be looking for some “ghost” roles in future films of the STU (Star Wars Universe).
Move to another “developed nation”, and take your light sabre with you, putz.
This guy is a b rate actor and I’m being generous, sit down and STFU you washed up old clown, nobody is interested in your uneducated opinion, now F off loser.
It’s very funny that a Hollywood actor would be so against gun violence when he works in an industry that has promoted gun violence almost as long as they have been making movies and TV shows full of gun violence and murders. How do they know their entertainment industry isn’t shaping tomorrow’s mass shooter through the stories and effects they do well they don’t know and won’t until that kid grows up and buys his or her first gun. If anyone can ever stop gun violence and the deaths resulting from it will only cause those who want to kill to use a knife or a car and the real smart ones will make IEDs to kill even more people, so I say just enforce the laws we already have on the books and forget trying to come up with a new way to stop gun violence.
Don’t worry about it. He’s a one-trick-pony and his 15 minutes expired back in the 70’s. Like most liberals, he just throws words up against the wall and waits to see what sticks. He’s a buffoon, just like Robert DeSneer’o. Ronald Reagan summed it up best when he said; “liberalism is a form of metal illness”.
He’s NOT “ Luke Skywalker,” he’s F- ing Mark Hamill, an actor who makes a living saying words that somebody else writes. He’s not a hero, he’s not overcome adversity, he’s a media creation. His words are worth no more than Bugs Bunny’s—- or Elmer Fudds.

Never liked Mark Hamill, never saw Star Wars. Hamill leaning ultra left was not nearly the same as former Bobby De Niro backing the fake POTUS (genuine POS) who is allowing fentynl to be smuggled into the US. Tens of thousands of Americans are dying every year from fentynl including De Niro’s nephew but the actor hates TRUMP. So I looked into a little De Niro histoty and see that he was on the Epstein pedo island guest list and when he was filming “Ronin” he was arrested in Europe on a sleezy prostitution sting. No doubt thats how the left wing US deep state captured Bobby De Niro.
