Nite Ize’s newest products stick to what the brand does best: fixing small, everyday frustrations with smart hardware. The standout is the Orange Screw, supported by updates to the S‑Biner XT and Radiant NutLit.

Nite Ize has predictably cool tools to make your hunt better.

The Orange Screw Leads the Line

The Orange Screw is the headliner for a reason. It’s a compact ground anchor that threads into dirt, sand, or soft soil to secure dogs, tents, tarps, or gear lines without bulky stakes, sand bags, or cumbersome weights. If you’ve ever set up a pop-up shelter, you know what I’m talking about.

The Orange Screws come in two sizes and have two means of sinking them in the ground.

Bright, easy to spot, and simple to drive in, it’s the kind of tool that quickly finds multiple uses: at camp, on the farm, or in the backyard. It’s included cover works as the tool to twist it into the ground, or you can use any other stick-shaped thing. Amazingly, they also have a bit that attaches to your cordless drill. It fits over the screw’s head and drives it into the ground in a jiffy. The screws weigh just 1.8oz each.

The head has a hook side for tent flies, or you can tie or clip directly to the big center ring. The Orange Screw comes in two lengths, and I can’t wait to have these in my kit.

Here’s my plan: When I’m hunting, I’ll use a tree limb up high and a screw in the ground with a line of paracord to reduce the weight of a deer carcass by half as I lift it off the ground. I’ll be hauling the line up from the screw.

I think it’ll be awesome, and a two-pack of either size is just $24.99, and the drill bit is also $29.99, and worth every penny for every second I’m not on my knees twisting the screws into the ground.

S‑Biner XT: More Secure, More Serious

The S‑Biner XT takes Nite Ize’s dual‑gate design and makes it tougher. Stronger gates and extruded aluminum make it suited for heavier gear. It’ll hold as much as 500 lbs. I’ll be using it in the deer rig I described above. For $9.99, I can’t see not taking it on every outing.

A 500-lb weight limit makes these useful for many jobs; .88oz and 3.5 inches long make them carryable anywhere.

Radiant NutLit: Small Light, Big Convenience

The Radiant NutLit is a cute little glow lamp, but there’s a huge reason I really like it. Its light isn’t the bright blue-white of LEDs that is typical in flashlights and headlamps. It’s a softwhite light, like real lantern light, and tungsten lightbulbs.

Using this in the tent or camper will be much more cozy because of that color difference. It even has a candle mode that gently oscillates the brightness. Also, the white diffusion globe is a million times better than a headlamp because it spreads light more evenly around your space.

I don’t mind that it’s a cute acorn shape, but I love how effectively it does its job. Like most Nite Ize products, it solves a problem you didn’t realize you’d accepted. You’d be nuts not to get one.

The Takeaway

The Orange Screw is the star, but the full lineup reflects the same idea: practical gear designed to get used. There are a bunch of other new things at the link, too. They’re the kinds of tools that end up living in trucks, packs, garages, and campsites. And they’d make terrific Father’s Day or Mother’s Day gifts.
