Streamlight’s new TL-Racker is an 850-lumen forend light for Remington 870s and Mossberg 500/590 models. The sleek, integrated design eliminates remote cords and snag hazards. It’s ideal for shotgun breaching, close quarter operations or home defense.
The grip puts the hand at a perfect angle for recoil management and manipulation.
The body is built from “super tough” impact-resistant nylon and 6000 series machined aircraft aluminum with black anodized finish. The O-ring and gasket-sealed light is made using Borofloat high-temperature glass.
Powered by an 850-lumen, white LED, TL-Racker produces a 237m beam at 14,000 candelas. Two CR123 batteries provide 1.5 hours of run time.
The ambidextrous elongated switch pad provides maximum grip and easy access for virtually any hand size. The switch provides momentary and constant “on” functions.
Perfect for police duty guns or home protection. The night is dark and full of felons.

Love this light. And the latest version does offer a red laser with the bright white light.

I prefer two light settings. In other words have a switch to reduce it to a lower lumen setting . Going from pitch darkness to 850 lumen may temporarily blind a suspect but it might blind the shotgun operator too.

I would gladly purchase one of these forend lights if they made a version or an adapter so that it would fit my Remington V3 shotgun.

If they make a light for the V3. I could put it on my TAC-13. Let’s hope the folks at Streamlight read your comment.

Cool….Eliminates having to bolt a light to a tri-rail on the magazine tube. I suspect the next model will have a laser incorporated too

At close range, my best guess would be to just shoot where your light is pointed. Shouldn’t need a laser with a shotgun.
