Springfield Armory (S.A.) has unveiled its latest model, the Hellcat Pro OSP Threaded in Desert FDE. S.A. designed this 4.4” threaded-barrel pistol for concealability and allows for suppressor attachment.
This compact 9mm handgun has a 15+1 capacity with a flush-fit magazine and a 17+1 capacity with an extended magazine. Its slim design ensures it remains discreet for everyday carry.
The barrel, made from hammer-forged steel, showcases a black Melonite finish. The barrel complements the Cerakote Desert FDE slide and has a .5×28 threading, accommodating various suppressors.
The Hellcat Pro OSP, short for “Optical Sight Pistol,” comes with a milled slide for Springfield’s Micro footprint. It’s optimized for mounting micro red dots, offering a low mount position. Additionally, it features U-Dot sights with a tritium & luminescent front sight and a Tactical Rack rear sight.

The pistol’s design also includes a Picatinny rail on the dustcover for accessory attachments, catering to diverse user needs.
Steve Kramer, Springfield Armory’s Vice President of Marketing, comments on its capability and design, emphasizing the pistol’s balance of performance and concealability.
Included with the pistol are a 15-round magazine and a 17-round magazine with a Desert FDE extended basepad. The Hellcat Pro OSP Threaded in Desert FDE has an MSRP of $710.
