This is one of those situations where things go bad… fast.
According to reporting from WAVE News, three teenagers are now facing charges after a robbery turned into a shooting, one that nearly cost a homeowner his life.
It all went down early Wednesday morning.
The suspects were moving through a neighborhood, checking cars, something police say has been happening more and more. Then they found one they wanted.
That’s when the homeowner stepped in.
Instead of staying inside, instead of calling it in and waiting, he confronted the suspect breaking into his car, fully aware his cameras were rolling.
What he didn’t know? The suspect was armed. Seconds later, gunfire erupted.
Shots rang out from the side of a truck, at least four rounds, sending bullets flying just feet from the homeowner.
He made it out alive. Barely. “Thank God I’m alive,” he said afterward. But it didn’t end there.
Moments later, the suspects circled back, firing even more rounds, with bullets striking his home and the ground around it. Luckily, nobody inside was hit.

Police eventually tracked down the suspects—an 18-year-old and two juveniles—after they crashed a stolen car roughly an hour later. They’re now facing multiple charges tied to the robbery and shooting.
But the bigger question isn’t just about what happened. It’s about the decision point. Because this wasn’t a planned confrontation. It was a split-second call.
You see someone breaking into your car. You step outside. And, you think you’re dealing with a theft. And suddenly… it’s something a whole lot worse.
An armed suspect. Multiple attackers. Rounds coming your way. This is exactly the kind of situation that turns into a life-or-death moment without warning. And it raises a serious question:
Would you confront a carjacker unarmed?
It’s easy to say “yes” when it’s your property. It’s easy to think you’ll scare them off. But as this homeowner learned, you don’t always know what you’re walking into.
And sometimes, the difference between stopping a crime and becoming a victim comes down to what you’re prepared for before it ever happens.

Why weren’t the youths charged with attempted murder ? The bullets missed the homeowner by mere feet .
This black POS hood-rats have nothing to worry about. With the revolving door justice system the dems have shoved up our ass’s, these turds will be back on the street before the ink dries on their arrest records.
Never leave the house without your hand being filled with something that goes “BANG”, my personal life rule.
WOW I can’t believe a kid or man with the name Devon would do such a thing you would have thought the Ghetto would have thought him better
If he had been armed and fired back he’d be in jail depending on where this happened. These kids will be back at it before you know it
the other problem not addressed fully is the retaliation aspect from the criminals and their friends. you drop them and hope for the best that it’s over and done!
Wrong again Paul on multiple counts. If memory serves me right you said you lived in Ohio. Its against the law to shoot someone over the stealing of your property and it often does land people in jail for murder. Its happened numerous times in Cleveland and Northern Ohio over the years.
And because its against the law you not only might end up in prison but sued by the relatives of the deceased and you could end up paying millions to the bereaved even though admittedly they were probably scum bags that deserved to get shot.
pink ammo goes in purple guns, purple ammo don’t go into pink guns.
That’s… some kind of -ist or phobic or something. Help me out here, dacian.
Ableist?
(this post is satire.)
I’ll help you out…..Paul is wacko, but makes for good comedy. He’s hung up on that pink purple crap. Maybe it means same as he believes one of his fingers goes up his ass and the other goes down his throat….then he types his comments with his toes….who knows.
sorry buzz but my posts are beyond your mental capabilities……….and “buzz” still sounds gay as shit!
That’s the FIRST good Reason to NOT live in OHIO, you do that shit here in Montana and you will go home in a body bag and that’s where it stops. but we don’t have much of that problem because people know that we shoot back and you can get shot for stealing here.
not all of ohio just the commie strongholds, ohio isn’t so bad.
