The Jacob Grey Hex Pro is a steel-framed, 4.6″ pistol that blends a chunk-ported barrel, low optic cut, and a 2.5-pound adjustable trigger. It builds on the Hex and Nox 9 platforms with updated ergonomics, a billet steel frame, and a factory RMR plate.
Jacob Grey positions the Hex Pro as a refined evolution rather than a ground-up redesign. The goal is better control, durability, and shootability in a premium handgun.

Design and Construction
Jacob Grey based the Hex Pro on the same grip module used on the Nox 9. The grip keeps the familiar hex texturing seen across the Hex lineup. Its shape aims to fit a wide range of hand sizes without feeling bulky.
The pistol uses a fully CNC-machined billet 4140 steel frame with a full dust cover. A Picatinny rail supports popular large weapon lights, such as the SureFire X300 and Streamlight TLR-7. The Armored Billet components come finished in Carbon Grey, while the frame ships in a carved grey tone.

The slide is stainless steel and paired with a 4.6-inch bull barrel. Jacob Grey added a chunk port to reduce muzzle rise while keeping the slide profile clean. The barrel crown features a subtle hex pattern that ties to its own name.

Trigger, Controls, and Ergonomics
The Hex Pro runs Jacob Grey’s patented one-piece trigger machined from billet. It ships with a 2.5-pound pull, short reset, and adjustable overtravel. The flat trigger face has rounded edges to “improve comfort” when running the gun.
An ambidextrous manual safety comes standard. The levers stay rounded and low profile for easier manipulation without snagging. The extended magazine release is removable but not reversible. A medium-sized flared magwell ships on production guns; other sizes may be available.

Optics and Sights
Every Hex Pro includes an RMR plate from the factory. The optic cut sits very low to preserve adjustment range and keep the dot close to the bore.
The pistol uses a Glock-pattern front sight. Owners can swap it from underneath the dust cover. A rear sight cover plate with irons is planned as an aftermarket option.

Availability and Pricing
Jacob Grey plans to begin shipping the Hex Pro to dealers in early February. Initial availability will focus on dealer orders before broader retail distribution.
The pistol carries an MSRP of $4,800, placing it firmly in the premium steel-frame handgun category. Each Hex Pro ships optic-ready with an included RMR plate from the factory.
Jacob Grey expects additional accessories, including alternate magwell sizes and a rear sight cover plate, to follow later in 2026. Learn more HERE.
