A homeowner in Washington shot a suspected thief earlier this week when he caught him prowling around a car. Another homeowner in Oklahoma shot a burglar in his kitchen.

Car Prowler

According to KXLY, the Washington homeowner witnessed someone tampering with his car. The homeowner went to investigate.

Reports say the homeowner was armed, yet he did not draw his weapon when approaching the prowler.

The suspected thief attacked the homeowner. Both were knocked to the ground.

Homeowner’s Partner Fired the First Shot

The homeowner’s significant other saw what happened and fired a warning shot at the ground. It did nothing to stop the fight and SourceOne News says a second warning shot was fired.

When the warning shots did not work, the significant other approached and attempted to pull off the attacker.

The situation continued to escalate. The homeowner eventually pulled out his firearm and shot his alleged attacker once.

The suspected thief dragged himself away. The homeowner called 911 immediately.

According to KPQ, police found the suspect in the middle of the road. He was taken to nearby Mid-Valley Hospital, where he died.

Detectives are investigating and consider this a “case involving the use of deadly force.” No charges have been publicly announced yet.

The homeowner is likely glad to have been armed in retrospect.

Oklahoma Homeowner Shoots Too

These things happen more often than many would like to think. The same day in Oklahoma, a homeowner woke up to find a burglar in his kitchen.

According to NewsOn6, the homeowner fired as the burglar ran out with stolen items. He said his wife was in the bedroom. The burglar collapsed in the yard.

The two Oklahoma citizens called 911 and remained inside. The police arrived and found the burglar “with burglary tools and a gunshot wound.”

Homeowners, parents, and citizens in general: preparation is key. Be ready to defend yourself and your family. You may never have to use it but have a gun.

These homeowners could have been in sticky spots without the means to defend themselves.

Gonna need to buy a fresh potter’s field when these illegals start piling up. That or a Soylent Green plant.

And another one gone. Another one bites the dust…

People are tired of being victims. Even people that once believed the lefts’ anti-2nd amendment rhetoric that the police will always be there for you and you don’t need a gun for protection. The police – just a phone call away… yeah right!

I believe you are correct, people are tired of being a victim. It’s going to get a lot worse before it get’s better.
