If your life depended on it, would you wear a fanny pack? Many people that I asked this replied, “No,” but for some reason, I’m not buying it.
Galco Gunleather is making a fanny pack/pistol holster hybrid and I love it! This new concealed carry method is called the Fastrax PAC Waistpack.
Here, Hannah demonstrates how to access your handgun from the Fastrax PAC.
The Fastrax PAC holds a variety of pistols in an internal holster. To access the pistol, you simply rip the zippered pouch open and pull the activation cord with your non-dominant hand. This action stands the pistol up in the Fastrax PAC, allowing you to draw vertically, free of obstruction, to address the threat.
Of course, you can also store items in this pack; it is, after all, a fanny pack. The front zippered pocket can be used to store other EDC gear, while the main compartment holds your trusty handgun. Also, note that the front pocket features a headphone port, so phone storage is easy and convenient.
The holster in the Fastrax PAC will hold a variety of pistols on the market.
The Fastrax PAC was designed to not only be functional, but comfortable as well. With the Comfort Cloth backing, adjustable elastic belt, neoprene, and other notable features, this fanny pack is designed to be customizable and form-fitting.
The 46″ adjustable elastic belt on the Fastrax PAC will fit most anybody.
The Fastrax PAC Waistpack comes with the same limited warranty that all Galco Gunleather products come with. But you probably won’t need it because of the durable, ballistic nylon construction.
The Fastrax PAC is made from a combination of ballistic nylon and neoprene.
Keep your eyes open for this stylish and functional new product because it is shipping out currently. New colors will also be available in the future if you aren’t a fan of the blackish color it comes in now. MSRP for the Fastrax PAC Waistpack is $79.00.
This would make the perfect outdoors/hiking concealed carry option.

80 DOLLARS???……… someone at galco is using this to carry their crack pipe and doing the pricing!!! not only is a stretchable wait band a bad idea it will only get looser over time and the bag is just a wee bit small. for this price u might as well just spend the money more wisely on thunderwear!!

The 90’s fashion police called and requested that if you still wear a fanny pack you give credit to the Coke fulled club parties of the 90’s as being the first iteration of a man purse, and also said that you can only wear a fanny pack if you watched Miami Vice and still wear white sports coats over a t-shirt with jeans and white sneakers…..

About time! Once long ago, Galco had a fanny pack system, and both my small and large are just about worn out, zippers are getting old, and nylon frayed after nearly 30 years. And frankly, nearly every other offering out there that I have tried have been poorly done, bulky and clunky. I especially love using them when motorcycling, very convenient and handy for my tastes. Oh, and sorry, but it ain’t a “new concealed carry method” for Galco. But I do get a kick out of some people’s reactions when they say, “whatcha got in there” and I tell them it could be my Epi Pen, or my diabetic kit, or my gun.
