Check Out These Optics from C&H Precision! — SHOT Show 2025

in Riley Baxter, SHOT Show 2025

C&H Precision is a Georgia company with roots in producing pistol-optic adapter plates that has grown rapidly. Now they sell optics, including two new offerings for 2025 that caught my attention at SHOT Show 2025.

The Comp Max and RMSc Max are both a modern twist on existing mount options. Simply put, they are designed to be reliable and rugged, with a larger window than what was previously available on their given footprint.

Both optics can be ordered on C&H Precision’s website and are now shipping. Both optics also have the same MSRP of $339.95.

RMSc Max

Because of their slide width, some handguns are almost exclusively available with the small RMSc optic cut. This means most optics compatible with these guns, like 2011s and 1911s, are small and compact.

The RMSc Max has a small footprint, but a tall, widened window that measures 24mm in diameter. For those who use inches, this is about 0.94″ in diameter.

This generous window size is almost the same as the large optic I use in competitive shooting sports.

The RMSc Max at SHOT Show was camo and mounted to a shotgun. The window on this optic is a whopping 24mm in diameter.

At first glance, this is a fantastic optic. It’s loaded with great features and impressive specifications including motion control, IPX7 waterproof rating, 50,000 hours of battery life, and more.

I look forward to testing it in the future to see if it withstands the abuse that is standard for my pistol optics.

The RMSc footprint is commonly used on shotgun red-dot mounts, making this RMSc Max a great choice for this application.

COMP Max

The COMP Max is almost visually identical to the optic that I like and use the most on my handguns, but with a lower price point. This large windowed optic boasts a window with a diameter of 28mm, or 1.1 inches.

With its RMR footprint, the COMP Max is almost guaranteed to have optic cuts available for any handgun that you want to buy.

This Comp Max has Tape on the exterior to keep it from getting scuffed up during heavy use. Still, you can see how massive this window is!
