Ruger is in a hurry to get 2018 started off right with a solid set of new additions to their catalog, from casual plinkers to hard-hitters.

On the eve of SHOT Show 2018, IWI just dropped a bomb of an announcement!  It’s the company’s first ever bullpup shotgun!  The Tavor TS12.

“These are simple, easy-to-use devices that increase the firepower and killing power of firearms,” said former state Sen. Raymond Lesniak (D-Union) who sponsored the bill before he retired last week. “There is no legitimate need for these devices.”

Why build your own?  Because it’s fun.  Because it’s cheap.  And, well, because maybe you live in California where the G43 isn’t on the roster of approved handguns. 

“Today the Senate Law and Justice Committee is hearing gun responsibility bills that simply would not have been heard by the previous leadership of the Senate,” said Jeff Potter, program policy director for the Alliance for Gun Responsibilities on Monday.

“We felt that the STAND idea was a great idea to honor our country and those who serve America,” said Brad Johnson, CEO, United Sporting Companies.

“They think they’re better shots than the cops are. I call these guys ‘Walter Mitty’ iterations — they think they’re heroes,” Burridge told the Herald.

Hopefully, we can put the claims of “Trump Slump” and of the demise of the firearms industry to rest along with the year 2017.

It may seem counterintuitive to those outside the hunting community, but anyone on the inside knows that hunters care more about conservation than every pot-smoking tree-hugger on the planet.
